It is very important that you arrive on-time as this is a team
activity.
If the weather looks really bad (we DO paddle in the
rain, we DON'T paddle in full-blown storms), please check
the NEWS section of this website or call
a BOCC officer prior to practice. It is YOUR responsibility to find
out if practice is cancelled.
Some quick tips: If you're going to eat a full meal before practice,
be sure to finish it at least 1.5 hours ahead of time. Light energy
snacks, HammerGel, juices, and water may be consumed just proir
to as well as during practices.
Though we want you to bring along the essentials, try not to bring
a clutter of things into the boat with you. Don't forget to the

Always remember that outriggers have a tendency to flip over from
time to time. If you can't bear losing $150 pair of sunglasses,
leave them in your car!
